East West Pharma Signs MoU with Thiruvalluvar University to Launch Certificate Course in Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing
East West Pharma is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thiruvalluvar University, Serkkadu, Vellore, to offer a Certificate Course in Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing. This academic– industry partnership is a milestone initiative of East West Pharma, called East West NextGen, aimed at fostering skilled professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the dynamic pharmaceutical sector.
The pharmaceutical industry continues to expand rapidly, with increasing emphasis on professional marketing practices. To meet these evolving demands, it is imperative to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical industry exposure. Through this collaboration, East West Pharma and Thiruvalluvar University will provide a structured learning program designed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and professional requirements.
East West Pharma jointly with Thiruvalluvar university will offer two courses to students who have passed 12th Std. A six-month certificate course in pharmaceutical marketing & sales and a one-year Diploma course in Advanced pharma marketing & product sales management.
The courses are designed to:
• Impart specialized knowledge in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
• Provide insights into industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and ethical practices.
• Enhance communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
essential for a successful career.
• Offer students exposure to real-world pharmaceutical operations, leveraging East West Pharma’s extensive industry experience.
