East West Pharma at ACSICON 2024
The field of cutaneous surgery and procedural dermatology is witnessing rapid advancements with the increasing demand for minimally invasive techniques for skin-related concerns. East West Pharma participated in the prestigious ACSICON (Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India), a major event that brings together Dermatologists specializing in Dermato-surgery & aesthetics in the emerging field of cutaneous surgery and procedural dermatology.
The conference was held on 30th, 31st August and 1st September 2024 at Mahabalipuram. ACSICON provided a dynamic platform for the exchange of cutting-edge developments, surgical advancements, and new treatments in this evolving specialty, which has seen tremendous growth in recent years. The conference attracted more than 1500 delegates from across the country. Being a national event, all senior managers of our Dermatology SBU were present which helped in having quality time with several KOLs.
East West Pharma made a significant impact by showcasing its wide range of products in cosmetology. The highlight of the company’s participation was the launch of its new topical anaesthetic, PL GEL. This anaesthetic has been specially formulated to meet the needs of patients undergoing various dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, ensuring a more comfortable experience. The introduction of PL GEL at ACSICON was well received by dermatologists and cutaneous surgeons alike.
East West Pharma had put up a display hub as well as a spacious hospitality lounge. Many delegates found this a convenient way to relax, refuel and then engage in academic sessions. The stall had a foot fall of around 500 delegates. By participating in ACSICON 2024, East West Pharma reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the dermatology community with innovative pharmaceutical solutions that cater to the evolving needs.
